Who We Are?

Our History

In 1970 Wayman Mitchell went to the small town of Prescott, Arizona. From here, a spiritual fire was launched that is spanning the globe. In a few short years, hundreds of churches have been planted and are touching tens of thousands every year.

This church is a product of that vision and is working to see it expanded in the short time that remains before Jesus’ return. God has given us a vision for the day we live in. Our message is simple, yet powerful, that Jesus Christ is the only hope for man’s salvation and can bring supernatural change in any person’s life. Jesus Christ has risen from the dead and is moving mightily on the earth. The Potter’s House Manville is a part of Christian Fellowship Ministries which now includes more than 4,000 congregations worldwide.

General Statement of Faith

That Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God, and the only Savior from sin.
That Jesus Christ is the Healer of the body through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ.
That Jesus Christ is the Baptizer with the Holy Spirit.
That Jesus Christ is the Soon Coming King.
That Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and forever.

What We Believe

In the Trinity of the eternal Godhead: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. (Jn. 14:26)
In the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Jn.1:1)
In the person and deity of the Holy Spirit. (Jn. 16:8)
In the inspired and inerrant Word of God, The Bible. (2 Tim. 3:16)
In salvation by grace through faith and not of works. (Eph. 2:8)
In the propitiation for sin only by the Blood of Jesus Christ. (1 Jn. 2:2)
In the substitutionary atonement for all mankind. (2 Cor. 5:15)

Daughter Church

A key component of The Potter’s House Christian Fellowship Church is our desire to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are pleased to have launched this new work to go forth “unto all the world” to reach the lost. Pastor James and his wife Ashley Scott were launched into Belleville, NJ.
